why we exist?
Most women's fashion is built to launch fast and fade faster. We wanted to build the opposite — a house that starts with one category, gets it right, and only moves forward from there.
So we started with the handbag. Not because it's easy, but because it's the one thing almost every woman owns multiples of and still can't find one she reaches for without thinking. The strap that's always slipping. The bag that looked structured in the photo and collapsed in on itself by week two. The "everyday" bag that wasn't, actually, built for every day.
That gap is where ava greene begins.
our first collection: marabel
Marabel is our opening statement — a range of leather and vegan leather handbags designed around one idea: the everyday essential shouldn't be a compromise.
Every silhouette in the Marabel line was chosen with a specific woman in mind, someone who wants shape without stiffness, softness without shapelessness, and hardware that still looks right a year in. Some pieces lean structured, the crossbody, the square-framed bag, for the days that call for precision. Others move looser, shoulder bags, woven totes, for the days that don't.
We didn't build Marabel to chase a season. We built it to be the collection you come back to after the trend cycle moves on.
our vision
We're starting with handbags because a house has to start somewhere honest. Over time, ava greene will grow into the wider world of women's fashion and accessories, but only at the pace our standards allow, and only into categories where we believe we can do the same thing we're doing with Marabel: build something considered, not just available.
